The ISILA teacher training workshop, held on November 27-28, introduced participants to learning analytics (LA), focusing on data-driven interventions and ethical considerations. 33 Attendees from the 5 partner institutions explored LA tools and methods, including Learning Locker, to track student progress. Through interactive sessions, they analyzed dashboards, identified trends, and designed targeted interventions. The workshop concluded with a group discussion on insights and challenges from the exercises, fostering collaborative learning and practical application.
Teachers will apply the knowledge gained during this training in 10 pilot courses scheduled for the summer semester of 2025, enhancing teaching effectiveness and student learning progress.
